Our herbal teas are prepared in small batches to ensure the freshest possible product. We package 4 ounces of tea in a resealable, lined kraft paper bag. However, we recommend that you transfer your purchase to a dark jar (or clear glass jar inside a brown paper bag) and store them in a cool, dark area to keep them fresh up to 2 years.
To make the perfect cup of tea: Put one heaping teaspoon of tea per cup into your teapot. Pour just-boiled water (if you use a whistling kettle, wait until the whistling stops) over the loose herbs. Steep 3-7 minutes and strain through a non-metal strainer into your cup. In most instances, you may sweeten with up to one teaspoon of honey (or use a pinch of stevia with your herbs). Always sip your tea, don't gulp it. And, if you're drinking tea for medicinal purposes, don't increase the amount you drink. "Always underdone rather than overdone." Remember, herbs need time to work with your body.
