1 Hi! Thanks for checking out my website. I am a bodyworker and community herbalist, based in Olympia, WA. My path over the last 20 years has been of intensive study and practice in first clinical herbalism, then incorporating massage therapy and then onto biodynamic craniosacral therapy, and finally onto integrating and blending these three primary modalities in one practice.
I have been a member of the wonderful worker-owned Massage Place Collective since 2010, and offer massage and craniosacral sessions there. My herbal consultation appointments have switched to Zoom or phone during the pandemic, and probably beyond.
My massage style is intuitive and I use long, slow techniques to invite the body’s tissues to relax deeply and recover from injury. My craniosacral sessions are supportive and grounding to the nervous system, to help clients unwind from old unhealthy patterns or traumas and build more resilience. My herbal work is rooted in empowering my clients to trust their body's intelligence, to feel in charge of their own health and healing, and to find an ever-deepening connection with nature and the gifts of the plants. My life's work is to help people strengthen and trust their body-mind-spirit connections, and to maintain inner balance in the midst of stressful situations. I am a lifelong learner, and I continue to deepen my knowledge and skillset through attending workshops, conferences, and classes. I love sharing my knowledge, and I occasionally teach classes and workshops--anywhere from college classrooms to funky community venues. I am venturing into online teaching soon, so keep an eye out!
My work is rooted in a deep commitment to social justice and individual transformational healing. I trust the ripple effect: I know that healthier individuals make healthier choices and healthier communities. I am trauma-informed, HAES/ body-positive, gender-affirming, and a proud member of the LGBTQI+ community.
